This fragrance combines the rich heritage of three important cultures - Roman, Greek and Arabic - in a harmonious composition.
The top notes, which have their roots in Roman culture, are composed of wine and red grape, symbolizing the distinctive Roman lifestyle. Mediterranean rosemary, which thrives on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, complements this blend and represents immortality and good omens. Bitter orange leaves, also known as petitgrain, from a citrus fruit found throughout Italy since ancient times, round out the top notes.
The heart notes are derived from Greek culture and include the so-called "blue tears" of perfumery, myrrh, a symbol of sacrifice. Patchouli, a legendary ingredient, is integrated here as a symbol of rebellion and freedom. Carefully selected, this heart note interacts with the base notes and enhances the warm tones of the oud.
The base notes, inspired by Arabic culture, include grey amber, once as precious as gold and a central point of ancient trade deals. Oud, a symbol of masculinity and the fight for life, is obtained through a natural infection of the Aquilaria tree.

Anyone who has ever been in a sauna knows the smell of the heat and the essential oils that evaporate when the water is poured onto the hot stones. This is exactly what Triskelè by Sikelia smells like. A very fresh and wintery scent that definitely revitalizes the body and mind.
Triskele
The name Triskele literally means three legs. The connection between the name and its meaning is easy to see and immediately gives the idea of the first meaning of the symbol.
It symbolizes the cyclical and therefore eternal sequence of movements. A cycle that is constantly born and dies, destroyed and regenerated, and turns around itself. The cyclicality of the symbol is also emphasized by the spirals that complete the three arms and almost seem to come to life when viewed.
In addition to its cyclical meaning, the Celtic symbol of the triskele also contains the symbolism of the number three. In many cultures, this number is considered an emblem of perfection. The number three therefore stands for something perfect because it is constantly changing.
It is considered a powerful lucky talisman that wards off evil, the evil eye and harmful influences.

Sicily
Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, is a fascinating melting pot of cultures with a rich history stretching back to the ancient Greeks. The traces of Greek colonization are evident in imposing ruins such as the Valle dei Templi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the striking remains of Greek temples in Agrigento. The island has also been influenced by the Romans, Arabs, Normans and Spanish, resulting in a unique cultural diversity.
The Normans left a lasting mark on Sicily, particularly through the Norman Palace in Palermo, an architectural masterpiece that reflects their artistic legacy. Sicily also contains treasures from the Arab era, such as the Arab Baths of Palermo, which are an example of the artful integration of Arab and Norman elements.

Fulvio Ciccolo
Fulvio Ciccolo, a trained perfumer and professional aroma researcher, 28 years old and currently based in Sicily. His passion for perfumery was sparked by its ability to create strong emotions from an invisible medium, from nothing. He went through various stages in the industry, studying at ISIPCA and the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, then took technical positions at Fragrance Resources and Argeville before setting up his own (second) company, creating aromatic formulas for applications that we taste and smell.
His journey began in 2009 at ISIPCA (the world-renowned perfume school in Versailles), where he studied perfumes, aromas and cosmetics along with applied chemistry. He continued his studies in perfumery in Germany at a company called Fragrance Resources, now part of the IFF group, under the guidance of master perfumer Rolf Czyppul (student of Robert R. Calkin). For a while, he also worked as a GCMS (gas chromatography mass spectrometry) technician.
He moved from company to company until he finally ended up in Grasse, where he worked as a technical perfumer at Argeville. This led him to the ERINI Lab (European Research Institute of Natural Ingredients), where he was able to work in depth in the analytical field.
Fulvio Ciccolo creates tailor-made fragrances for both individuals and external clients.
Since 2015 he has also been a member of the French Society of Perfumers (SFP).
