✔ The superheroes of DC Comics™
DC Comics™ is known for its countless comic books in which superheroes have to save their homes from evil villains . The first comic book was published in 1937. Their identities are often secret and, selfless and heroic as they are, they go on rescue missions every day. They have superpowers and are equipped with the best weapons. Nevertheless, the dark side also knows how to defend itself. Of course, the brave superheroes also have to be specially rewarded. To recognize them and their deeds. The superheroes from the DC™ universe include Aquaman™, Flash™, Superman™ and Wonder Woman™. And of course Batman™. This silver coin is dedicated to the latter superhero. It is the first issue of the DC Comics coin series.
✔ Batman™ – the hero of Gotham City™
The coloured motif side of the Silver coin shows Batman™. Brave, courageous and confident of victory, Batman™ stands on the roof of a skyscraper in Gotham City™. He wears his black, bat-like mask and a black cape. His superhero suit is grey with a yellow belt. A black and yellow bat logo is printed on his chest. He wears knee-high boots, also black. His right hand is clenched into a fist. Batman™ is obviously aggressive, angry and ready to fight. His left arm is outstretched and in his hand he holds a Lasso . He looks down from the roof onto the street. It seems as if he is watching the villain he wants to catch with his lasso.
Bottom left are the Fineness (999) and the Denomination (1 ounce) embossed on the coin. At the top left you will find the bat logo again, which can also be seen on Batman™'s chest.
