The famous DC SUPERMAN™ #1 comic from May 1939 floats on this COMIX™ coin!

Made from 1 ounce of pure silver, this coin features a full-color image of not only the first self-titled comic book for the MAN OF STEEL™, but for every comic book superhero ever. To mimic the comic, it was made into a rectangular shape and printed on all four Sides inked to represent spine and sides. Turn to the obverse to see the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, confirming the coin's legal tender status. As an added touch, an engraved flipping page has also been added!

In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, each coin is presented in a black velvet insert in a themed, custom-designed box. A large window on the front allows you to easily display this rare piece. On the reverse is a certificate of authenticity and the coin's unique number in the limited edition of 5,000.
