Parfums de Marly's fifth creation, Godolphin, is named after the famous Barbary stallion "Godolphin Barb", the thoroughbred ancestor of so many prize-winning racehorses.
Fine spices form the beginning of the fragrance: thyme, saffron, cypress and green notes cavort here in an overall soft and round composition. Controlled spiciness with a fresh touch, which is immediately undermined by the fruity-floral accompaniment. And already the leather notes show up, finely accentuated by cedar wood and softly underlaid with iris, musk, ambergris and vanilla.
Very fine, very distinguished, Godolphin by Parfums de Marly reflects the powerful elegance of this famous horse.
