With Russian Leather, Memo Paris presents an olfactory journey into the icy, remote landscapes of Siberia - and the world of the Russian wolf.
In the middle of the frosty expanse of Siberia, at 55°22' North and 86°04' East, Russian Leather takes us on a journey into the deepest roots of Russia, to the endless landscapes, the vastness and the sparsely populated region. This fragrance is part of the Cuirs Nomades range by Memo Paris, which is dedicated to the world of leather. This beguiling perfume was created by the perfumer Sophie Labbé.
The inspiration for this fragrance comes from the Russian wolf, a wild and independent creature with an extraordinary sense of smell that guards its territory - and now also adorns the precious bottle of Russian Leather. These wolves are among the few that can survive in the solitude of the Siberian steppes, forests and icy plains. They are the rulers of a merciless land.
To imagine Russian Leather, imagine following the trail of this majestic wolf. There you will discover the balance between vitality and sophistication, and a leather harmony with a magical aura: a sensual flash with a Slavic touch. The stubborn fern in the icy tundra served as inspiration for a breathtaking fougère accord. The aromatic flora explodes in the sunlight, with notes of rosemary, mint, lavender, sage and basil. The coniferous forests of the taiga come to life, with Siberian pine, cypress and cedar.
The howling wolf that calls to the moon: it wants to prove its existence and summon its fellow creatures. A scent is in a way no different - its uniqueness calls for us to meet one another.
